Mama Shelter is a stylish hotel located in the eastern district of Paris. The hotel was designed mainly by the famous designer Philippe Starck. It carries an original and eccentric character that enchants its visitors from different artsy backgrounds. The suits of the hotel are simple and modern with dark carpets and concrete walls, crisp white luxurious sheets and fancy dress masks hanging on lamps next to the bed.
Speaking of the masks, they play an important role at the hotel… Each room has an iMac television, and every visitor can take their pictures in those masks, (only if they wish to be unrecognizable) :-) therefore they can be sent automatically to the hotel’s website, with the hotel’s validation of course, so don’t try to be too “creative”.

Here is the suite with the famous dress-masks on the lamps next to the pillows, that I' have mentioned before. They became the hotel's signature.

This Italian inspired lounge gets very crowded by night. Here you can enjoy the mouthwatering pizza.

This is the hotel's restaurant where you can sit down, relax and enjoy a beautiful evening in a good company.

I really like the contrast between this vibrant, colorful wall and the dark-brown lounge chair. They complete each other.

Love this table! If you happen to celebrate your birthday at Mama Shelter, you get to seat at the special chair as the head of the table! What a special treatment! Mama will take care of YOU! :-)
