No need to say that it’s been a while, since I’ve published anything new and exciting…
I am finally back from my jolly French trip full of interesting discoveries, memorable experiences and many charming encounters.
So get ready for some glitzy updates!
I heard that the famous Parisian Crazy Horse was coming to Montreal, but since I was already in Paris, I decided to visit this magnificent avant-garde cabaret in the City of Lights, and to share my own experience with some of you who couldn’t be there…
Before the show Désirs, I got a chance to sit down and to chat with one of the charming dancers of the Crazy Horse cabaret – Fiamma Rosa!
“Christian Louboutin and Crazy Horse Paris are symbols of Parisian life whose worlds know no borders; symbols of the world of creativity, wonder and modernity. They share the same sources of inspiration – Women, of course, but also the world around them – and both are exceptionally skilled at producing unique and surprising creations. This is why Christian Louboutin was the natural choice as the first Guest Creator.”
M.K: Fiamma Rosa sounds very extravagant and mysterious, what is the story behind your name?
Fiamma Rosa: My name translates from Italian – the red flame. I am Russian, but I speak Italian very well.
Once a girl joins the Crazy Horse cast, the director and the choreographer choose a specific stage name that reflects her personality and her background. We are given a choice of a name that we can only refuse once.
M.K: What is your favorite number during the show?
Fiamma Rosa: I have quite a few… My favorite are Rougir de Desir, Crisis, Take my Love and Spoutnik where my voice is recorded. Spoutnik is a number where I read a poem in Russian, it is one of my favorite poems by Robert Rojdestvenskiy.
M.K: Do you have a dream?
Fiamma Rosa: I only have one dream, it is to be happy everyday and to enjoy life.
M.K: What message would you like to send to our readers?
Fiamma Rosa: For men is to love women, to feel and to desire beauty, and for women to radiate love and allure. We all have bad days, but at the end, the sun will always shine!
“Having welcomed many “Guest Creatures” onto its legendary stage, Crazy Horse Paris was pleased to announce the first “Guest Creator” in its history: Christian Louboutin.… FEU was remarkable collaboration that lasted from March 5th 2012 until May 31, 2012.
“The celebrated creator of the red sole was invited to give his fresh interpretation of the Crazy show, which he describes as “an iconic Paris monument, a monument to dance, a fantastic, modern idea of the celebration of Women for Women“.
