Place de l’Étoile Paris – Cream Flair
Place de l’Étoile which translates as Square of the Star is the original name for today’s Place Charles de Gaulle – a large road junction in Paris. It is the meeting point of twelve straight avenues including the Champs-Élysées.
Place de l’Étoile was renamed in 1970 following the death of the General and President Charles de Gaulle, but it is still often referred to by its original name, and the nearby metro station retains the designation Charles de Gaulle – Étoile.
There is nothing better than wandering around Paris on a beautiful sunny day wearing a light outfit in soft pastels!
